The Youth United program at Genesee County Habitat for Humanity was honored recently in receiving one of four $10,000 matching grants for the 2010 Build. This grant comes from State Farm Insurance through Habitat for Humanity International. Please help the Youth Habitat members by contributing directly to this program. It is critical that we take advantage of this opportunity. You can simply label your donation to be applied to the Youth United Build to help the Youth United crew meet their goal. This group meets at least once per month and develops ways to raise money, work directly with homeowner family, raise awareness, acquire leadership skills and build one home for a family in need.
